Join the Salish Sea Renewable Energy Co-op to be part of a grass-roots community effort to support generation of renewable clean energy in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia.
Co-op members are able to participate in a group purchase of solar equipment and installation services for their homes, and to receive a discount on the price of their home solar installation as a result of aggregating orders from many members.
Another initiative over the longer run is to build one or more community “solar gardens”….
